As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, your essential job functions will include the following:

Recruiting/Sourcing

  • Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, testing and delivering applicants for administrative, management and technical positions throughout the company
  • Responsible for managing the candidate through the entire recruitment process (sourcing/recruiting, communications, interviewing, offer negotiations, etc.)
  • Responsible for managing the hiring manager through the entire recruitment process (communications, recruiting strategy, counseling on behavioral interview process, offer negotiations, determining start date, etc.)
  • Builds relationships with hiring managers (exhibit high level of responsiveness)
  • Effectively manages assigned associate referrals, ensuring the referrer and referee are communicated with throughout the process
  • Establishes recruiting sources through the internet (inclusive of social media), cold calling and search firms
  • Manages search firms and temporary help services
  • Identifies competitive threats (including wage information), trends and issues and escalates to manager
  • Meets established deadlines for filling a required position
  • Evaluates quality of recruits
  • Participates in college recruiting events and job fairs
  • Utilizes applicant tracking system to track and manage the hiring process
  • Manages internal and external job postings
  • Attends networking events and utilizes social networking (i.e.: LinkedIn)
  • Manages compensation negotiating process for each position following Dealer Tire’s compensation guidelines in coordination with manager
  • Assists with developing and executing recruiting sources such as college relations programs, referral bonus and networking programs
  • Conducts research and sourcing activities on special recruiting projects as assigned across all departments, utilizing internet technologies, databases and other staffing tools
  • Performance of the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be measured by:
  • Meeting and exceeding hiring expectations of assigned internal customers
  • Regularly surveyed client satisfaction results
  • Regularly surveyed candidate experience results
  • Successful completion of assigned special projects

Employment Law

  • Understands Federal laws as they relate to hiring
  • Understands State laws in states where Dealer Tire conducts business

Company Policies

  • Thoroughly understand Dealer Tire handbook
  • Assisting department in carrying out various HR programs and procedures as necessary

H.R. Budget

  • Responsible for adhering to recruiting budget in travel and advertising areas

Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (2-3 years) – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail required
  • Must be a team player, an active learner, and must thrive in an innovative and demanding environment
  • Must be able to travel as required (<20%)

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The total compensation package may also include commission, bonus or profit sharing.
