What makes you smile at work?

What really makes me smile at work is seeing the team achieve an ambitious goal. There's always a bit of a rollercoaster ride when you set a high target, and navigating those ups and downs together—relying on the team's resilience and problem-solving skills—is incredibly rewarding. To me, those challenges are proof the goal was ambitious enough in the first place. If it were easy, it just wouldn't be worth it.

What do you value most about the people you work with at Dealer Tire?

I value the emphasis on core values which are genuinely part of the culture here and the people that demonstrate them day in and day out. It is rare to find an organization that continues to be founder led with a strong management team all from different backgrounds and for that company to be the best of the best. Who wouldn’t want to work with folks like that!

What’s the toughest challenge at Dealer Tire?

As a family of companies operating in the same channel and for a consumer who is increasingly shopping online, Dealer Tire needs to maintain its win-win-win proposition without cannibalizing or isolating any of the independent organizations. This is a tough challenge and one that will surely define the next phase of growth.
