Strategic Partner

  • Partner with business leaders and Sr. HR Business Partner to drive business strategy and profitability by helping identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes.
  • Consult, coach and influence leadership on key organizational and management changes to support strategic objectives.
  • Partner with Sr. HR Business Partner on assessing HR implications of business strategies and adjusting HR strategies to respond to changing business needs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to guide on all performance related issues, including high potential and key talent decisions, succession planning, performance improvement, teambuilding, development, engagement and terminations.
  • Support the Sr. HR Business Partner with business units restructures, workforce planning, career pathing and succession planning initiatives for business units.
  • Leverage trends and metrics to develop talent strategies.
  • Support and facilitate significant organizational change initiatives.

Operations Manager

  • Act as tier one support for HR-related questions and issues within the business unit, connecting business users to the appropriate HR resource.
  • Act as the liaison between the People department’s centers of excellence and business units; collaborate on the execution of HR and talent strategies.
  • Coordinate talent management processes through scheduling of meetings, gathering data and preparing presentations.
  • Partner with Sr. HR Business on proposing and driving functional talent strategies.
  • Develop role-based curriculum strategies, oversee execution of strategies and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Collaborate on development plans for new associates and deliver role-specific learning programs where applicable.
  • Manage new hire learn plans and schedule training and/or coaching resources necessary to implement plans.
  • Coordinate job analysis, compensation reviews and compensation packages.
  • Collaborate on the development of functional and region-specific talent acquisition strategies.
  • Promote business unit participation in HR and learning and development programs.
  • Provide feedback to improve HR policies and initiatives to enhance overall business performance.
  • Consult on associate engagement strategies and facilitate team interventions.
  • Coordinate coaches and mentors to support role-specific development needs.
  • Create and maintain project plans and coordinate resources to execute on learning and development projects with the Learning department.

Emergency Responder

  • Provide guidance on HR policy interpretation and enforcement.
  • Collaborate on complex employee relations issues.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to employees and managers where appropriate.
  • Identify trends and develop strategies to mitigate and prevent future employee relations issues.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience including working knowledge in at least two HR disciplines or relevant strategic project work in the supporting business department.
  • A record of accomplishment culminating in a role requiring high levels of influence, collaboration with all levels of an organization, including executives, and ability to be extremely agile and efficient.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business practices and the link between HR strategy and business strategy.
  • Experience in proactively analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, projecting. consequences of proposed actions and implementing recommendations in support of a strategic plan.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
  • Travel as necessary (approximately 30% (could be more or less based on business unit supporting).
