Title: Videographer / Video Editor

As a Videographer / Video Editor, your essential job functions will include the following:

For effective and impactful Video Communications, work independently to:

  • Conceptualize, design, and create (including studio and on-location recording and editing) superior videos and original live-action and motion graphic designs.
  • Work closely with Creative Team Leads to deliver compelling, on-brand video content that meets the requirements of customer needs and the marketing strategy utilizing all chosen mediums effectively, including websites, social media, point of purchase, etc.
  • Accurately estimate project timeframes based on information provided at kick off meetings.
  • When needed, direct video/animation projects to be completed by freelancers or agencies.
  • Present new video concepts through scripts, storyboards, or animatics to team members and project stakeholders.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to innovate, imagine, and invent ways to leverage technology and trends that help us effectively reach customers and dealers.
  • Operate, maintain and organize video equipment and studio to ensure proper care and performance.
  • Co-administer ProMax video server with IT.
  • Manage the workflow processes to ensure efficient workflow and uniformity.
  • Provide support to other departments including: hosting support, media management and support, and sharing video/audio best practices.
  • Administer in-house screen messaging system; oversee and train others on use.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
  • 2-4 years of related experience in a similar position required.
  • Knowledge of major video software including Adobe Premiere and After Effects, Element 3D, Apple Final Cut Pro X and Motion or equivalent software. 3D modeling in Cinema 4D, Blender or equivalent a plus.
  • Knowledge of HD video cameras and Mac Operating Systems.
  • Demonstrated creativity in design and visual storytelling.
  • Understanding of video compression techniques.
  • Ability to shoot video, record audio, and light shooting area.
  • Positive and team-oriented attitude. Able to effectively collaborate and communicate with other creative teams, the marketing department, and other internal departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to accommodate for ambiguity in projects by using problem solving and critical thinking to determine efficient solutions.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
  • Project organization and management experience demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively deliver multiple projects concurrently.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Carrying & setting up equipment up to 60 lbs. (video, audio, lighting etc.) on location.
  • Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time.
  • Continuous viewing of a computer screen.
