As an Associate IT Systems Analyst, your essential job functions will include the following activities:

Tool System Design, Configuration & Administration

  • Site and workflow creation, Form Design, Business logic/workflow, user training, user/role/group provisioning and maintenance, backup, restore, issue resolution, and managing system configuration.
  • Assist with integration to other systems or applications.
  • Work with IT and all functional areas to keep service portals up to date.
  • Maintain documentation about custom configuration, design and feature deployments.
  • Automate repeatable IT processes with workflow and orchestration.
  • Maintain technical and project documentation.
  • Maintain multiple environments including Production and Test environment.
  • Share tool knowledge on services related to supported applications.
  • Understand and perform tasks as a tool administrator.
  • Gather requirements, create, test, provide training, and maintain workflows and automations.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer as requested to both IT and business partners on the tool functionality.
  • Complete upgrades to the tool as needed to maintain vendor support.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of product roadmap including any planned upgrades or enhancements, working through supervisor to obtain senior management approval as appropriate.
  • Seek regular input from internal customers (key stakeholders across Dealer Tire and the Dealer Tire Family of Companies) via one-on-one conversations, focus groups, surveys, to identify opportunities to improve associate efficiency and effectiveness and reflect these in the product roadmap.
  • Provide production deployment support.
  • Assist in defining resources and schedules for project implementation and completion.
  • Assist in describing, planning, and scheduling project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
  • Conduct regular usability tests to identify opportunities for improvement in navigation, page layout and user experience. Develop and nurture positive working relationships with clients.
  • Maintain awareness of current vendor trends with a focus on service development and delivery. Continuously look for ways to increase both tool knowledge and fully utilize the system and encourage full usage of technology. Participate in user group meetings/conferences.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or combination of education and work experience required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a dynamic work environment.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience with an IT Service Management preferred.
  • Knowledge of current industry and technical data pertinent to ITSM and ITIL preferred.
  • Working knowledge or experience writing complex logical expressions preferred.
  • Working knowledge or experience with IIS preferred.
  • Working knowledge or experience with SQL preferred.
  • Working knowledge or experience with scripting languages such as Python or Power Shell preferred.
  • Experience working with computer operating system software and desktop applications.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects; passion for increasing collaboration and cross-functional information sharing.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, process-oriented, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to manage ad hoc requests.
  • Deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism.
  • Demonstrates good interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem solving, negotiation, sourcing and time management skills.
