As a Sr. Manager, Information Solutions, your essential job functions will include the following:

Project Leadership

  • Ensure team is familiarized with the customer needs, functional specifications, systems development process, design standards/guidelines, and techniques and tools to support task performance.
  • Verify the team follows development and design standards/guidelines.  
  • Oversee incident tickets are handled in accordance with the IT/IS metrics.
  • Prioritize and lead the execution of project work; resolve or escalate issues that could impact deliverables, timelines and budgets.
  • Direct the capacity of the team to ensure effective utilization of staff and skill sets across competing demands.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive resource plan and ensure delivery of current and future team tasks.
  • Keep abreast of industry initiatives and market trends that impact the business to enhance current service and recommend solutions.
  • Lead team on the implementation of governing policies, procedures, work instructions, principles and standards.
  • Ensure deliverables satisfy the project requirements, cost, schedule, and code release process.
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration across all levels of management.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Work with business areas to develop the portfolio of IT projects needed to further their strategic initiatives.  Provide guidance to business on project justification, including return on investment calculations and tangible/intangible benefits realization.
  • Work with business areas and key resources within IT to prioritize the portfolio of IT projects and allocate resources for execution.
  • Communicate project priorities, objectives, and goals with all stakeholders.   

Leadership, Mentoring and Coaching

  • Provide leadership, coaching and development opportunities for assigned team.
  • Communicate operational priorities, objectives and goals.
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.
  • Complete a performance evaluation of each team member and recommend appropriate action such as promotions, counseling and termination.
  • Determine staffing needs, interview potential candidates and hire associates.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of diverse business analytics and project management experience.
  • Five plus (5+) years of managerial experience
  • Ability to influence and lead change
  • Strong project management and issue identification/resolution skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Must possess strong business acumen and demonstrate organizational agility
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Excel, and thorough working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
