As a Financial Reporting Analyst, your essential job functions will include the following:

  • Research accounting issues, identify applicable GAAP, analyze findings and prepare position papers.
  • Prepare assigned quarterly and year-end financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.  
  • Develop reports and analyze results across all businesses using the Company’s OneStream consolidation system.
  • Support the annual external audit, including preparing and reviewing interim and year-end audit requests.
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual bank and/or statutory reporting requirements.
  • Understand ASC 842 and its impact to the financials; maintain the Company’s leasing software as needed. 
  • Provide technical accounting support to business operations teams on projects and new initiatives.
  • Maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and accurate reporting of financial position.
  • Keep current with new accounting pronouncements and the impact on the Company.

Other Duties as Assigned

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related major
  • CPA and MBA preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in financial reporting or related position.  Public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Sarbanes Oxley
  • Thorough and up to date knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements required; knowledge of international reporting standards preferred.
  • Experience in a rapidly changing, high performance environment based on a team-oriented culture.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Travel as necessary (<10%).
